Caitlyn Jenner is heading to the Australian jungle for this year's I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! as the show's VIP signing, it has been reported.

The 70-year-old reality star will be taking part in the ITV series after agreeing a £500,000 fee with the broadcaster, The Sun reported.

The fee offered to Caitlyn, who came out as a trans woman in 2015, is thought to be one of the biggest in the programme's history.

Caitlyn, who was married to Kim Kardashian's mum Kris, was dubbed a "huge name" by an ITV source.

The newspaper quotes the source as saying: "She’s such a huge name and a great get for producers.

“ITV think she is one of their best ever signings. It’s a real bolt from the blue. They’ve asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right.”

Caitlyn, who has starred in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has six children with ex-wives Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson and Kris Jenner.

She and Kris Jenner are parents to Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
