I'm a Celebrity 2018: Emily Atack to tackle first Bushtucker trial as Harry Redknapp and Nick Knowles enter camp
I’m a Celebrity returned to to ITV on Sunday night (18 November) with a new bunch of celebrities that’ll no doubt be chomping on witchetty grubs.
This year’s camp mates include former football manager Harry Redknapp, The Chase star Anne Hegarty and John Barrowman (Torchwood). DIY SOS’s Nick Knowles, soap star Sair Khan (Coronation Street) and James McVey from boy band The Vamps also feature.
Recent reports have also claimed that British presenter Noel Edmonds will enter the Australian jungle as this year’s secret camp mate. Bosses are said to have offered him £500,000 to take part – the most money the ITV show has ever paid for a celebrity.
Declan Donnelly kicked off the 18th series without his trusted partner, Ant McPartlin, who has taken a hiatus from presenting to battle a number of personal problems. He’s replaced by This Morning host Holly Willoughby.
This is the 18th series of I'm a Celeb meaning it's been on every year since 2000 - and it still pull in huge viewing figures. The same can't be said for most shows, that's for sure.
So, Sair, John, Rita and James have been split into two teams, and they're each going to select their campmates after a series of head-to-head tasks. Kangaroo anus's are already a stones throw away.
