I'm A Celeb winner odds - which star is set for success before show even starts

I'm A Celebrity's return is just around the corner, fan excitement hitting a fever pitch with the announcement of the new roster of famous faces.

And with the new line-up looking to be the most star-studded yet, the show's loyal army of viewers are keen to see what surprises are in store from the allegedly haunted Welsh castle.

Ant and Dec are also set to make a return on Sunday's opening show to welcome the cast before they hunker down in camp to take on the wet and the wind.

While fans are already speculating about who will make a splash in camp and who might be crowned castle royalty, bookies Ladbrokes have released odds on potential winners.

In the top spot is both podcast host Giovanna Fletcher and EastEnders veteran Shane Richie.

Giovanna's been a hit since the weekend's preview show, putting her on an equal footing with lovable Shane at 7/2 odds of winning.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "A flurry of bets on Giovanna since Sunday night's preview show have forced us to slash her odds and she's now joint-favourite with Shane to go all the way.

"We wouldn't be surprised if the pair were the last two standing in this year's makeshift jungle."

Joint bottom are Hollie Arnold and Victoria Derbyshire at 20/1.

Fans breathed a collective sigh of relief as ITV managed to get the show to run despite several lockdowns.

Pushing ahead with production for the flagship reality show, ITV bosses are making sure to pull it off in a Covid-safe way, setting the air date for November 15.

ITV was forced to move away from the usual Aussie jungle setting earlier this year, shifting it to Wales.

While many complained - before national lockdown 2.0 - that it was unfair that I'm A Celeb went ahead with filming while much of Wales remained under a local lockdown, the Welsh government argued the show could help combat the growing mental health crisis.
