I'm A Celeb stars say they wouldn't sign up for wet Wales over sun-scorched Oz

I'm A Celeb stars wouldn't sign up for wet and cold Wales over sun-dripping Australia.

Christopher Biggins - who won the reality series in 2007 - confessed he's not sure he could take the cold in Wales while he chatted about the I'm A Celeb staycation on Monday.

TV bosses confirmed the 20th series will go ahead with a twist as this year camp will be relocated to Wales.

The I'm A Celeb 2007 winner admitted he was delighted Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will be returning to our screens for the show's three-week duration.

While interviewing Christopher, Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway revealed she wouldn't have enjoyed the series as much herself if it hadn't been filmed Down Under.

Although Kate said she loves Wales, the presenter said she couldn't cope with the rain every day because she recalled the difficulty when there had been when there had been a big rainstorm in the jungle.

She said: "I love Wales, Wales would have been lovely, I definitely love Wales but I just think it's going to add an extra twist the cold and the wet.

"I remember one of the worst days was when there was a big rainstorm, when all the bedding got wet. It just made it really difficult...

"I don't think I would have enjoyed it very much. [Christopher] did you have storms?"

Christopher was in agreement he battle the cold weather every day.

He said: "Yes [there were storms] and it will be every night in Wales won't it?"

The star also confessed there wasn't the promise of the five-star Hotel Versace waiting for when the camp mates were voted out.

"I'm not sure I could take the cold, and also is there a Hotel Versace nearby? I'm not sure there is in Wales.

"The only thing I think is very positive about it is that Ant and Dec will be back on TV for three weeks making us laugh and they will get a lot of laughs.

"I can see it now, icicles off the nose, shivering, I certainly wouldn't want to be in it this year."
