I'm A Celeb stars' final meals revealed - from baked camembert to full English

The I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! finalists were treated to a slap up meal before the winner was crowned on Sunday night.

Remaining trio Simon Gregson, Frankie Bridge and Danny Miller all got to enjoy a an "absolutely immense" three-course dining experience before bidding farewell to the Welsh castle.

After competing individually in the Fill Your Face trial in order to win starters, mains and desserts for each other, the celebrity campers tucked into an elective selection of grub.

Former Emmerdale actor Danny - who was in charge of securing the first course - opted for halloumi fries, a full English breakfast and some chocolate for his final meal on the ITV show.

After weeks living on rice and beans, Loose Women presenter Frankie decided to treat herself to a baked camembert to begin with, followed by a roast beef dinner and apple crumble and custard with white chocolate fingers for her afters.

Tasked with winning the stars some luxury main courses, Simon tucked into a prawn cocktail and some lamp chops, mash and peppercorn sauce on the side - with the Coronation Street star picking Eton Mess and chocolate as his choice of dessert.

Chatting about the slap up meal, Frankie said: "There was this big table with a white cloth on, real cutlery and glasses! I’ve not drunk out of glass for so long. It just looked like the perfect romantic meal for three."

Corrie star Simon added: "It was absolutely immense!"

Prior to tucking into their symbolic final meal, Danny joked he was ready to demolish the lot.

"This is a joke… this has been the first meal we’re eating off proper plates, real food cooked by proper people who are trained to do it and as far as I’m concerned, we’re going to eat the lot, from start to finish. I can’t wait!" the Aaron Dingle actor laughed.

As the celebrity campers scoffed their well-deserved lavish meal, they reflected on their time in the Welsh castle.

"The friendships you make in here are ridiculous really," The Saturdays singer Frankie mused to her fellow finalists.

Rounding up their experiences, Simon added: "I feel like I’ve grown to be more confident in front of people I don’t know."

Frankie echoed the Steve McDonald actor's sentiments, saying: "I think I’ve realised I’m a lot more resilient than I thought I was."

Danny - who recently exited ITV soap Emmerdale - also joined in on the reflective chat ahead of the new King or Queen of the Castle being crowned.

"I genuinely think if we can all survive this you can achieve a lot more than you believed," he told Frankie and Simon as they enjoyed their food.

"Congratulations to whoever the King or Queen may be!" Simon added, as the three finalists prepared to find out who the public had voted their winner.
