Danny Miller's fiancée is reportedly "very unhappy" with Nicola McLean after she suggested that the Emmerdale actor has a "game plan" on I'm A Celebrity.
During his time on the ITV show, Danny has formed close bonds with a number of the cast and was the first to be voted to do an eating challenge.
But reality TV star Nicola - who appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2008, isn't convinced that he is genuine and has suggested he tried to get himself voted for the dreaded eating challenge by talking about gagging and throwing up.
She previously told the Daily Star: "I’m not sure whether Danny is already playing a game because I cannot see if you are that sort of... if you gag a lot, if you’re sick, you’ve already been sick twice in the helicopter and swallowed it, why would you carry on saying this, of course you know you’re gonna get the eating trial."
Nicola continued: "I don’t know if he wanted the eating trial cause (sic) it is the best trial to get.
"It is disgusting but it is the best one ‘cause it’s the one people remember. I’m not upset if he’s playing the game but I can't see that he’s not."
But a source has told OK! that Danny's fiancée Steph feels hurt by the comments.
They said: "Steph is really unhappy with Nicola McLean, who is saying he’s got a game plan.
"Danny is the most genuine guy and Nicola doesn’t even know him."
The insider continued that Steph had taken the remarks to heart as the "only reason he is doing the show is for his family".
Nicola went on to admit people still want to speak to her about her eating trial, even though it happened ages ago.
