I'm A Celebrity's Amir Khan splashes £100,000 on posh designer watch

Former I'm A Celebrity star Amir Khan has splashed out on a £100,000 watch after deciding to treat himself.

The boxer, who appeared on the ITV show in 2017, bragged about his new toy by sharing a picture of it on Instagram.

He revealed he'd bought himself a pricey Richard Mille RM 032 dive watch, which sell from anything between £95,000 and £111,000.

Amir, 33, posted a picture of the new watch on his wrist, and wrote: "Not everyday I treat myself. Just picked up my  @richardmille   #RM32   #watches   #RM."

The sports star has made a fortune from his boxing career, and he also became the highest pair I'm A Celeb star in history when he landed a whopping £400,000 fee back in 2017.

He won viewers' hearts after his eviction by donating a portion of his fee to charity.

However, Amir's huge fee has since been eclipsed - Noel Edmonds reportedly got a whopping £600,000 pay cheque for his brief turn in the jungle in 2018, while Caitlyn Jenner was said to have been paid £500,000 for her run last year.

I'm A Celebrity is due to return in November with a new cast of stars and a new location, with the show being moved from Australia to Wales due to the coronavirus outbreak.

It's due to be filmed in Gwyrch Castle - a spooky, ruin in North Wales with a whole new series of tasks and challenges for the plucky contestants.

ITV have gone all out to make sure the show goes ahead this year, but telly bosses are facing challenges from new Covid-19 restrictions and flooding.

The castle was hit by bad weather in recent weeks and crews reportedly have been spending time clearing up the set after storms dumped huge amounts of rain on the area.

The show will be hosted by Ant and Dec, and stars rumoured to be heading to the castle include Jake Wood, Vernon Kay and Iain Stirling.
