I'm A Celeb's Vernon Kay's bitter feud with 'rude, pig-faced d***' Jack Black

Vernon Kay has a feud dating back to his early days as a TV presenter with Hollywood star Jack Black, and it all got quite nasty for a while.

The 46-year-old is currently holed up at Gwrych Castle in North Wales along with his fellow campmates in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

While Vernon comes across as a personable guy, his relationship with School of Rock star Jack Black is anything but personable, after Vernon issued a sweary rant about being in the company of the actor.

Vernon has previously recalled his encounters with Jack, when he was beginning his TV career as a presenter on T4.

The former Family Fortunes host has said that he interviewed Jack four times for the Channel 4 show and came to the conclusion he was "arrogant" and a "d***".

Vernon said that he was "nervous" before speaking to Jack and that each time he interviewed him, his personality never got any better.

He has recalled previously: "I don’t know whether he’d had a hangover or whether it was because I was either the first or last interview of the day but he was horrible.

“He was an absolute d**k, an a***hole.”

Vernon, who presented T4 from 2000 to 2005, continued: “When you’re so rude, arrogant, and pig-faced to a young TV presenter, who’s so nervous and trying to hone his skills, and you’re so arrogant to dismiss that, it’s just not on.

"He was just a c**k. I interviewed him three or four times for various films.

"I interviewed him for Gulliver’s Travels, for School of Rock, for Shallow Hal and a couple of others and he was just the same every time."

While it is not known what Jack's thoughts on Vernon are, the I'm A Celebrity star has said: "I hope he reads it, and let this be a lesson to Jack Black."

Meanwhile, Vernon has been tucking in to sheep brain and deer testicles for a vomit-inducing Bushtucker Trial on the ITV show, probably thinking of better times when he was taking down Hollywood stars in expletive-ridden rants.
