I'm a Celeb's Vernon Kay breaks down in tears with heartfelt message for Tess Daly

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Vernon Kay burst into tears during Friday's finale as he gave a heartfelt message to his wife Tess Daly, and two daughters.

Vernon has been married to Strictly host Tess since 2003, and they share daughters Phoebe, 16, and Amber, 11.

On Vernon's last night in the castle with other finalists Jordan North and Giovanna Fletcher, he reflected on his time on the show.

And as he talked about how much he loved his wife, he started crying as he was overcome with emotion.

The camp was reeling from the shock of Shane Richie being voted out from the castle the night before

Vernon said in the Telegraph: "I was in complete and utter shock that Shane left, because he has been a top, top bloke throughout the whole proud in camp.

"It means the world to me that I am in the final, that people have taken the time to pick up the phone, I am flabbergasted."

Breaking down in tears, he added: "And Tess, I love you baby, you know I do, love you forever and ever.

"And girls, I hope I have made you so proud."

Vernon has also been wearing his hat with the initial 'T' written on it in tribute to Tess, and his daughters names were written on the rim.

One viewer tweeted: "Vernon crying when talking about Tess and his girls. Adorable. "

Another wrote: ""Tess, I love you baby." - I CAN'T COPE. He's messed up (I'm sick of seeing and reading about it) but Tess has clearly stood by him... respect it. Vernon is amazing."

A third penned: "“tess i love you baby” my heart vernon #ImACeleb ".
