I'm A Celeb's Snoochie Shy accused of copying Jordan North by going to her 'happy place'

I'm A Celebrity fans have called out campmate Snoochie Shy for appearing to 'copy' last year's finalist Jordan North who visualised his 'happy place' during trials and won viewers votes.

Last night's launch of the returning ITV show saw the Radio 1XRA DJ using a coping technique adopted by former show contestant Jordan - who fans will recall visualised being at Burnley FC’s stadium, Turf Moor, to get him through the grim tasks.

Appearing on the show Snoochie, was heard saying 'I'm in South London' while nervously travelling in the swooping helicopter and later while in the Plank trial.

But taking to Twitter, one fan commented: "Snoochie Shy is just trying to be Jordan North #ImACeleb."

Another said: "Snoochie is giving me Jordan vibes from last year. 'We’re in south London'. 'Happy place, turf moor'."

A third added: "So South London’s Snoochie’s happy place..."

Snoochie was one of 10 new campmates to enter this year's series of I'm A Celebrity tonight.

But although some viewers were scathing of Smoochie's approach accusing her of 'copying' her popular predecessor and even hinting it was to emulate his success, the 'visualisation' technique she adopted is actually a popular method to relieve physical tension and psychological stress.

And what better way to test the technique of a 'happy place' than when suspended over a plank across a lake!

The self-confessed 'scaredy cat' also left fans in hysterics when she revealed some of her fears before joining up with her camp-mates.

She said: “I’m quite terrified of a lot of things to be honest… bit worried about bugs going up my vagina."

And vocalising her fears may actually cost her more trials if fans vote against her as they cringed at her talk of body parts and later 'poo'.

Viewers of the show on Twitter were left in disbelief at the remarks.

Ian said: "Didn't see the 'worried about insects crawling up my vagina' comment coming at all..."

Snoochie continued: “I think for me changing the toilet situation – that could be a sticky one. Just thinking about the thought process of carrying the poo…”

But viewers will get a further chance to make their mind up on Smoochie and her fellow campmates as the show continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
