I'm A Celeb's Seann Walsh is latest star to leave jungle as Matt Hancock makes final four

I'm A Celebrity Seann Walsh was the seventh star to be eliminated from the jungle on Friday night, as the grand finale inches ever closer.

The comedian, 36, was sent packing as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly entered camp and announced who would be leaving ahead of Sunday's final.

As the result came in, Seann said his goodbyes with disgraced MP Matt Hancock defying odds to make it through to the final four of the series, before reuniting with his pregnant girlfriend Grace.

Upon leaving them, the former Strictly star thanked his new friends for his time on the show and said it was 'the best experience he had ever had'.

As he watched his highlights reel, Seann said: "Oh my God, so many memories. So many amazing memories. You love that? I absolutely loved it. It is tough, and I don't know how much that comes across through the screen. But it's tough for everyone, especially in that middle bit.

"But honestly, I think as soon as you guys say my name, all of the tough bit just goes and now I'm just left with absolutely incredible memories. I'm gonna need a long time to just [process it]."

The comedian went on to say about what it was like entering camp with Hancock, saying how the former Health Secretary proved him wrong as he initially thought the MP would be the first to go.

Seann said: "I'll be honest with you, when I saw Matt I thought 'maybe you're not going out first'. But he was lovely, and he's still there for a reason. He was a lovely guy."

Viewers were gutted to see him leave the show so close to the final, with many surprised by the result.

Taking to Twitter, I'm A Celebrity viewers shared their disbelief.

One unimpressed fan tweeted: "I cannot believe he's gone!!!! I wanted him to win so bad."

While another echoed: "Nah he was robbed! This final will be so boring now."

Someone else complained: "Seann was my winner. Devastated it's all over for him."

And a fourth I'm A Celebrity fan shared: "Not me crying my eyes out because Seann is GONE!! Genuinely thought he'd win."

The latest elimination comes after Chris Moyles became the sixth star to leave the ITV show on Thursday night.

The radio star confessed he was 'gutted' to be out before disgraced Tory MP Matt Hancock, asking: "What is going on?"

After a few tough days in camp, Chris admitted he'd finally got to the point where he was keen to stay and go all the way.

Chris said: "I thought, I've got this now. I'd really like to stay, I'd quite fancied doing the Cyclone.

On Hancock outstaying him on the series, he told hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly: "I'm gutted Matt Hancock is more popular than me. What is going on?"

He later added he had "major issues" with the disgraced MP, but "less issues" with Matt as a person in the camp.

He explained: "Why am I out and he’s still in? I really struggled with [his arrival] to be fair and then I s****ed him a bit. Matt Hancock I've got major issues with, but Matt... less issues.

Prior to Chris leaving the jungle, the previous eliminations saw Babatunde go, as well as Boy George, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver, TV presenter Scarlette Douglas and Loose Women's Charlene White all axed from the series - while Love Island star Olivia Attwood was forced to withdraw just a day into the show.

I'm A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
