I'm A Celeb's runner-up Simon Gregson 'still drunk' during This Morning interview

Coronation Street's Simon Gregson was awarded second place last night in this year's finale of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

He appeared on ITV's This Morning to talk to hosts Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson, after a night of celebrating, to discuss his experience at his time in Gwrych Castle.

In the interview, he appeared to be slurring some words, rambling a bit and being somewhat hilarious leading fans to believe that he had hit the celebrations a little too hard last night and was still feeling the effects.

In one part of the interview, Simon was talking about his wife and kids when he said: "I've not seen the kids and Emma for like a month."

He stumbled on his words as he said: "I managed to get... you know... allowed my phone back. It's like being a prisoner and they're here now."

The soap star then shouted while looking off camera, as he said: "Weirdos!"

Then he calmly continued "I got my phone and I was allowed to err...." before looking off camera again as he said: "love you!"

Viewers of the show thought that he was "still drunk" as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Mel said: "#ThisMorning one of the best interviews yet. Simon is great. Must've been celebrating all night."

Sarah said: "@simongregson123 is still drunk, he's hilarious #ThisMorning."

Another user said: "Simon is still a bit drunk isn’t he? Looking rough as and rambling on."

Amanda said: "I know my limits” says Simon Gregson, while he’s still drunk on his # ThisMorning interview. "

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub
