I'm A Celeb's royal Mike Tindall shows off fingernails painted by daughter in cute moment

It's an experience many dads with make-up-obsessed children will no doubt have been subjected to - and celebrities and sports stars are no exception.

I'm A Celeb star Mike Tindall has been showing off his pretty nails after being subjected to a manicure this week.

The Royal and former rugby captain brandished his talons which were painted a delightful pastel shade of turquoise by daughter Mia, as he and wife Zara took a trip to Cheltenham.

The trip to the Cheltenham International Meeting marked their first public appearance back in the UK since returning home from Australia after Mike's stint on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here where he came runner up to Matt Hancock, Owen Warner and Lioness captain Jill Scott MBE, who went on to be crowned winner.

Former MP Matt Hancock was reportedly 'snubbed' by the couple after they organised a boozy afterparty in Queensland following the final, with the politician nowhere to be seen.

Instead, the ex-Health Secretary was 'booed' as he attended jungle co-star Seann Walsh's comedy gig in London.

Princess Anne's son-in-law beamed for the cameras in a flat cap and stone-coloured blazer and waistcoat during the trip to the racecourse on Friday, a day after Netflix dropped the first parts of Harry and Meghan's 'explosive' documentary which has been dubbed an attack on the family and British press.

The 44-year-old flashed his nails, matching the green horses on his patterned tie, which were delicately painted by eight-year-old Mia Grace.

Earlier, the rugby star shared a sweet snap on his Instagram of the two's manicures, with Mia's painted a shade of purple, writing of their "fun dad and daughter day" of "sushi and nails".

Loved up Mike and Zara posed for the camera at the racecourse, where they also met up with pundit Ed Chamberlin and fellow former sports star, jockey AP McCoy.

Equestrian Zara, 41, who dressed in a stylish dark velvet coat and black and green trilby hat, is a horse champion herself, having competed in the London 2012 Olympics.

Couple Mike and Zara have two other children, Lucas and Lena.
