I'm A Celeb's Mo Farah convinced public will vote him for every trial after damning claim

Olympic hero Mo Farah is pretty sure he's dropped himself in it as far as I'm A Celebrity 2020 trials are concerned.

The new campmate confessed before entering the castle that he was "scared of everything that moves", and that all creepy crawlies freaked him out.

Now, the damning confession could prove the wrong thing to have alerted viewers to.

Mo is preparing for the fact he may well do plenty of Bushtucker Trials, knowing it could be entertaining if he freaks out over whatever comes his way.

Speaking to Mirror online and other press, the star admitted he "definitely" believed he was going to be number one choice for the tough challenges.

He laughed, revealing: "I will be, I definitely will be."

Mo went on to say that he was "good at what he does" but that there were things he wasn't so strong at.

But he hopes he can do his best and tackle anything that comes his way, giving everything his best shot.

Asked why he chose to do the show now, he hinted he had been asked in the past but would only do it at the right time.

He told us: "I have watched the show over the years, and have seen a lot of people do it from start to finish.

"I always questioned myself and asked myself, do you think I can do that? Can I do it? Then I said, 'I wanna do it'."

Mo added: "In myself, if it was the time to do it then I would do it, and I kept that at the back of my mind."

He's ready to have a laugh and is up for the challenge, but is "not expecting anything" until he knows what he is dealing with.

He added: "It's never happened before and everything happens for a reason."

I'm A Celebrity 2020 launches at 9pm on Sunday November 15 on ITV.
