I'm A Celeb's Mike Tindall delights fans with snowy update after returning to UK

Mike Tindall is making the most of the harsh British weather following his return home from Australia.

The I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! 2022 star took to social media over the weekend to share a snippet of himself enjoying the snow currently falling across the country, after enjoying an extended stay Down Under with his wife Zara Phillips.

On Sunday, Mike, 44, posted a video showing the perspective of someone whizzing through the Gloucestershire snowy countryside - with the royal's followers loving his wintery update.

The former rugby player - who recently showed off a new manicure - captioned the footage: "Gloucestershire countryside looking good!! Great afternoon messing around in the snow!! #snow."

Mike and his wife Zara - the late Queen's eldest granddaughter - live in a property with their three children on the Gatcombe Park estate, Gloucestershire, owned by Zara's mother, Princess Anne.

During his stint in the jungle last month, Mike revealed just how dramatic the arrival of their youngest child in March 2021 was thanks to wife Zara giving birth at home after being told she wouldn't make it to the hospital in time.

Quizzed about whether Zara was in pain throughout the home birth, Mike admitted: "She was, it was fast though, from that moment. She almost choked me to death.

"You can’t say anything, can you? 'Can you let go, you’re really hurting me?' "

Lucas Tindall's birth was thought to be the first royal baby to be born at home for nearly 60 years.

Following his exit from the I'm a Celebrity camp one day before the final, Mike and Zara reunited on the iconic bridge and made the most of their time in Australia together - the country they first met each other.

The loved-up pair bumped into each other in a Sydney bar while Mike competed in England's successful World Cup campaign in Oz back in 2003.

Zara was travelling across Australia when she decided to call into a local bar to watch the semi-final, where Mike was also catching the game alongside some teammates after being dropped from the line-up.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2011, Mike revealed: "Zara was in the same bar; we got introduced but didn't speak that much. Later on, Austin gave me her number and said, 'She wants you to text her, to say where you're all going out after the final so she can come along'."

The following year it was confirmed the pair were dating and they eventually went on to marry on July 30, 2011, at Edinburgh's Canongate Kirk, just three months after Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.

Thanks to Mike's reality TV adventure last month, the couple got to spend some quality time together in the country where they began their love story but have since returned back to Blighty just in time to experience the current snowy weather.

"Good to see you back home," one of Mike's fan commented on his snowy video shared on Sunday, with another adding: "Worlds away from Australia!"

Another joked: "Bit cold after returning from down under."
