I'm A Celeb's Kadeena slams 'harsh' chore change as Louise and Snoochie are made leaders

Kadeena Cox slammed the ‘harsh’ chore change on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as Louise Minchin and Snoochie Shy were made camp leaders.

The Paralympic athlete was a self-confessed ‘cranky pants’ when the new responsibilities were dished out by camp leader Louise, and her deputy Snoochie.

The former BBC Breakfast host was overwhelmed when she was elected, and immediately picked the DJ and model to be her second in-command because she was ‘really upbeat’.

“Oh my gosh, I did not expect that. What an amazing thing they think I should be their leader,” Louise said.

“I’m really touched, I’m really proud and I’m also really nervous. I want to do it properly and make sure everybody’s happy,” the 53-year-old added.

Snoochie fully embraced her new duties, and said she’d be in charge of keeping up the morale of the camp.

“As they say, with great power comes great responsibility. I feel like it is my responsibility to make sure we are entertained every single day,” the DJ joked.

But the mood in the camp became awkward when Louise and Snoochie decided who would be picked for the chores, and they revealed their frustration over having to follow the rules and put their fellow celebrities in different roles than before.

“It’s like doing this really complicated jigsaw puzzle with pieces that you could move and pieces you couldn’t move,” Louise complained.

Coronation Street icon Simon Gregson and Olympic diver Matty Lee were chosen as camp chefs, and the actor gave his campmates a cheeky insight into his cooking skills.

“Hopefully they’ll enjoy burnt beans and minging rice – everybody’s fave,” Simon quipped.

Camp maintenance went to David and Frankie, while Adam and Naughty Boy were the cleaners.

But it was Kadeena who voiced her annoyance over being given washing up, along with Emmerdale ’s Danny Miller.

“Dude, that’s harsh. I’ve gone from one hard job to another hard job,” she fired.

“What do you want to do? Poo patrol?” Louise asked, prompting Kadeena to sulkily reply: “I’ll do washing dishes.”

Later, she voiced her frustrations in the Telegraph, but had time to mull it over.

“I’ll be brutally honest, I was not impressed I had the washing up… but as much as I was a bit of a cranky pants, it’s not that bad,” she shared.
