I'm A Celeb's Frankie Bridge says being cut off from husband Wayne and kids is 'tough'

I'm A Celebrity 2021 favourite Frankie Bridge has admitted finding it "tough" not being able to see her husband Wayne Bridge, and their two children Parker and Carter, every day.

The singer and Loose Women star has been apart from her family since early November, after joining the I'm A Celeb line-up.

Speaking to co-star and Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap, The Saturdays' Frankie revealed it was the longest time she had ever been away from her family.

Calling it the most "difficult" part of doing the show, she confessed she couldn't help think that she might be reunited with with her loved ones every time a vote-off takes place.

Speaking in The Telegraph on camp, she said: "I’ve never been away from Wayne and the boys for this long before.

"Being cut off from them, not being able to ask how they are every day, to tell them I love them every day… has been really difficult and probably the toughest part of being here.

"All I want more than anything is to be back with the kids and Wayne and the dog. As much as I am happy to still be in..."

She added, speaking to Danny: "It’s just hard every time you do a vote out, you can imagine yourself being back with them…"

Danny recently welcomed a baby boy Albert with his fiancée Steph Jones not long before he entered the Welsh castle.

The actor recently fought back tears as his luxury item was delivered to him in camp, with it being a framed photo of him, Steph and their baby son.

Since then, Danny has also received a letter from his partner which reduced him, and fans, to tears as she spoke of Albert recognising his voice on the telly.

Frankie's luxury item was a camera, after she confessed that anything linked to Wayne and the kids might leave her struggling with the show.

As for her letter from home, she was left mortified yet very emotional when husband Wayne brought up her constant wind.

Her sons also left her a sweet little note at the end of the letter, which read: "Mummy, you are the best mummy in the whole wide world, you are strong like daddy. Love you even more than the world."

I'm A Celebrity 2021 concludes in a live final on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
