I'm a Celeb's Frankie Bridge 'finding it toughest to cope' as she misses kids

I'm A Celeb's Frankie Bridge is battling with 'mum guilt' during her time in the castle.

The mum-of-two openly struggles to be apart from her sons when she's away from home to film Loose Women, and pals worry this will be heightened during her time in Wales.

A source told New magazine: "Frankie will be feeling a lot of mum guilt. She feels it when she's away from home filming shows like Loose Women, let alone when she's doing I'm a Celebrity. She will be really struggling in there, but she knew that she would be."

Luckily, Frankie's husband and ex-footballer Wayne Bridge, who entered the show in 2016, will understand her emotions.

"Wayne knows she's feeling it too. Her boys are at that age where they do really rely on her but they're in safe hands with Wayne who is the most amazing dad," the source continued.

Frankie, 32, shares her sons Parker, eight and Carter, six with Wayne after they were rumoured to have been paired by James Corden in 2011.

"She will be finding it the toughest in there, out of all of them. We've already seen a few tears from Frankie and are likely to see more - especially when it's time for letters from home, but she's a tough character."

Fellow panelist Kaye Adams has said that Frankie will miss her boys, adding that it's "only natural".

"Frankie has lived quite an unusual life since she was 12 - performing, being on the road and touring. And she's married to a former footballer, who will have spent time away. So I think they are a pretty resilient family," Kaye told the mag.

The former Saturdays member talked about being separated from Parker during her time on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.

Speaking of her demanding training schedule she said: "I don't get to see him as much as I like but I do see him a bit more than when I'm away on my normal job. But you do have that guilt when you haven't seen them that day."

She recently admitted on the show that both of her children will miss her, especially Carter. "My youngest is confused that he can't just ring or FaceTime, because I'm away, that's what we do."

"He did recently ask me, Mummy, I don't want you to go, but are you going to have fun?

"I told him I would be ok so he said it would be ok."
