I'm A Celebrity winner Danny Miller says he was desperate to "get his leg over" David Ginola in the castle.
The Emmerdale star wasn't shy about sharing his man crush on the footballing legend and now, opening up about his close friendship with David, he admitted he would have loved to have a cuddle with his fellow campmate.
Danny shared how he really wanted to spoon David - but his wish was awkwardly rejected by the sportsman in funny scenes that had fans in hysterics as they aired on the ITV show.
When they got to share a bed on I'm A Celeb, Danny gushed at the time "This is a dream come true for me – you and me in the same bed. I could cry mate, honestly. I’m doing everything not to."
He has now opened up about their bromance for the first time, and speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain, he said: "He was a childhood hero of mine was David Ginola and I was trying to get a leg over him all week.
"I finally got the opportunity to sleep in the same bed with him and he wasn't having any of it, he was a bit stiff to be honest."
He added: "I was trying to get my leg over and give him a little cuddle but he was having none of it so no, there was a spoon that wanted to become a fork..."
Danny later reiterated that he was desperate to spoon with David, but never got a chance, as he added: "I wanted to get my leg over with him for a cuddle and a spoon but he bottled it, so it's on him not me."
The actor also joked that "David was a massive fork in the relationship" for him and his fiancée Steph.
It comes after Danny admitted that his man crush on David had been "100 per cent solidified" by sleeping next to one another.
"Sleeping next to the guy, I have 100% solidified my man crush on him," Danny confessed in the Telegraph during his time on the show.
