I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'s Danny Miller is said to have been caught up in the split between his new fiancée Steph Jones and her husband.
Danny and Steph are now engaged and recently welcomed their first child together, but Steph was previously married.
Danny is said to have got back together with his childhood sweetheart in 2019 while Steph was separated from her husband, Daniel Babcock.
The pair are said to have wed in July 2018 but divorced this summer.
A source told The Sun : "Devastated Daniel was 'in pieces' when he heard about Miller and realised the marriage could not be saved.
“They were separated, but Daniel was heartbroken when he found out about it.”
The source claimed that despite the separation Daniel was still "optimistic" about saving the marriage, but that Steph's relationship with the actor was "the painful straw".
Daniel, 30, from Manchester, is now said to be in another relationship.
The Mirror has contacted Danny's reps for comment.
Steph, who gave birth to their son Albert five weeks ago, says the actor was her rock as she battled anxiety.
In her first newspaper chat, the NHS midwife told the Sunday Mirror: “He was the light at the end of my tunnel.
“Danny has talked about his own mental health and how I’ve helped, but he never really takes credit for what he does for other people.
“He’s been my absolute rock and he’s never admitted how much he’s helped me. I’d hate to think where I’d be without him because I was so shut off, my mum was so worried about me."
Steph revealed the actor was her first kiss in primary school aged 10 and that they dated as teenagers.
She then revealed: "I was really sad when he moved away. Two years ago, when we reconnected via his sister, we were both in a really bad place.
“But Danny really encouraged me to talk and say how I was feeling. He referred me to a therapist he was using.
“He also helped build up my confidence. I didn’t need many sessions but they really helped.
“Now we know each other so well that we both know when something is up and we can help each other."
And it seems like Steph may have offered a Danny a show of support on I'm A Celeb as there was a sweet message attached to an aeroplane, which flew over Gwrych castle on Thursday.
The message also said "Love from Pufalump." and is thought to have been organised by friends and family of the Emmerdale star.
However in a case of bad timing the contestants are thought to have been inside the castle when the plane was overhead, but production crew saw it hovering in the sky with a banner on the back saying "Danny Miller to win I’m A Celebrity".
A show source said: "It seemed like the idea was to fly over the castle in the hope Danny or a contestant would see it and pass on the message to boost his morale."
