I’m A Celeb’s Danny comforted by David as he breaks down over feeling homesick

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! certainly has a bromance brewing between two of this year's campmates.

David Ginola and Danny Miller clicked since day one, and now find themselves leader and deputy leader of the castle.

Danny has already described himself as David's "bi**h" after they shared a bed together for the first time, and now he's using him as a shoulder to cry on.

Friday's episode of the ITV show saw Danny, 30, confide in the former footballer where he admitted he was feeling "a little bit homesick".

David, 54, comforted the former Emmerdale actor and said: "It’s going to be fine. Concentrate on the food and think about how lucky you are.

"You have a lovely wife, a three week old baby boy. You need to be strong for them as well. They want to see you strong.

"When your son is going to watch the programme he’s going to say, ‘Wow, daddy was strong. He’s a strong man. He’s my idol'. I know it’s hard."

Danny then asked David: "Are you homesick?" to which he replied: "Oh yeah, every day. Every day I’m more in love with my girlfriend. Every day I’m more in passion with my life.

"I can’t wait, I can’t wait to get out and tell them how much I miss them. I think I’m going to hug my little girl for two hours. She will not understand."

Clearly feeling emotional and looking tearful, Danny said: "Thanks, David."

David then told him: "Believe in yourself and your capability. You’re very talented Danny."

Viewers tuning in at home were quick to comment on the conversation.

One person posted: "I want someone to look at me like Danny looks at David #ImACeleb @imacelebrity."

Another tweeted: "David is so good with Danny! So sweet to watch his idol become his friendRed heart #ImACeleb."

The sweet moment comes after Danny admitted that he's been a big fan of the sportsman since he was five or six-years-old.

“It’s bonkers honestly. I had top number 14 because of him because he was 14 for Tottenham," he told his fellow camp mates.

"He was like another Beckham wasn’t he?" Danny continued as Louise Minchin added: "Yeah he was," and Adam concurred: "He really was."

"And now I’m in bed with him!" Danny added, laughing.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! airs 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
