I'm A Celeb's Cyclone trial unveiled as Shane Richie's son begs fans to vote him to do it

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Shane Richie's son has begged viewers to keep voting for him so he can do the iconic Celebrity Cyclone challenge.

Shane Richie Jr said his dad wanted to make it to the final week so he could take part in the task.

Celebrity Cyclone sees the famous campmates dressed as superheroes as they try to retrieve gold stars from a slippery hill, all while being blasted by wind, foam, water cannons and balls.

The TV star's son tweeted: "My dad's goal before he went in was to get to the Cyclone, so please PLEASE keep voting.

"It will mean so much to him and us obviously x @realshanerichie @imacelebrity #ImACeleb."

Fans of the ITV show had been worried that Celebrity Cyclone wouldn't be going ahead this year after filming was moved from the Australian jungle to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales, where the climate is much more chilly.

But new pictures show a large structure being built on the grounds, which appears to be for Celebrity Cyclone.

Inflatable balls, which are usually hurled at the celebrities from the sides, can be seen piled up ready to be used later this week.

There also seems to be a huge slide being built.

In the snaps crews can be seen near the structure, putting in the finishing touches.

Some fans reported seeing wind generators being delivered to the site last week.

Celebrity Cyclone normally airs in the last week of the competition so fans don't have long to wait to see it onscreen.

A source told The Sun : "This often took place in the heat of the Australian jungle which meant it could easily be staged outside where it needs huge amounts of space.

"That left fans wondering if building something similar in Gwrych Castle in Wales might be impossible, because of the freezing temperatures and the limited room inside the building and its grounds.

"But it seems producers, who are determined to ensure the British equivalent is just as fun as the one Down under, have found a way to make it happen."
