I'm A Celeb's Carol Vorderman and Paul Burrell EVICTED from camp in double elimination

I'm A Celebrity... South Africa contestant Carol Vorderman and Paul Burrell have been booted out of the jungle following a tense eviction.

The former Countdown presenter narrowly missed out on a place in the final, with Phill Tuffnell, Myleene Klass, Jordan Banjo and Fatima Whitbread remaining in the competition.

Carol and Paul were disappointed to leave but were both thrilled they got they opportunity to return to the jungle.

I'm A Celebrity fans were sad to see the pair go as one viewer tweeted: "Going to miss Carol she’s been amazing !!"

Someone else tweeted: "Paul burrell has been so entertaining I could watch him all day."

"All the best to you Paul I enjoyed the screaming it’s all entertainment. Love carols laugh she cackles," another shared and a fourth said: "Commiserations Carol and Paul :( you have been such amazing camp mates and did really well in your trials well done to both of you!"

Another added: "Oh noooooo, Carol! My winner for sure, I’m sad about that, absolutely loved her. Personality for days & what an iconic laugh. They both looked absolutely exhausted tbf, bless them #ImACeleb #imacelebrity."

After her exit, Carol told Mirror she struggled to bond with “squawking” Janice Dickinson.

Carol said: “I got on well with everyone except for Janice. I didn’t like Janice. She would sit on a bed and just basically screech all day and I don’t like that.

“Everyone was very kind to her in the first few days and was like ‘Come on Janice tell us a story’. I couldn’t have been more encouraging but then she just started playing the reality TV game, which is not my scene at all. So she would just sit there and sound like a bloody seagull.

“She wasn’t doing her jobs either. She was just sitting in a bed and all of that build up over days and days. I thought, well, she’s gonna just sit there and get through to the final by doing nothing. You know, it just wasn’t right. So I did have a rant in the Bush Telegraph.”

Meanwhile, Dean Gaffney, who left I'm A Celebrity on Wednesday, opened up on his return to the jungle on Good Morning Britain.

He told Susanna Reid and Adil Ray it was a "great honour" to be asked back on the ITV reality show.

"I think it’s something like 300 people have gone through camp in the last 22 years, and as one of 15 to be asked back was actually a great accolade," he said.

The former EastEnders star went on to admit that he has put on nearly a stone during his short time in the jungle this second time around.

Dean revealed: "This is true, cause we kept winning, it was brilliant. For me it was an absolute breeze going into camp, I went in there for six, seven days, I ate like a King and it was nice. That’s the thing in camp, people do lose weight. When I was in the original camp, with David Gest, rest his soul, I lost two stones and now I’ve put on nearly a stone!”

I'm A Celebrity South Africa continues on Friday at 9pm.
