I'm A Celeb's Caitlyn Jenner was 'greeted on bridge' by James Haskell after family snub

I'm A Celebrity star Caitlyn Jenner was reportedly greeted on the bridge by James Haskell after her famous family failed to turn up to support her.

Caitlyn, 70, has spent three weeks in the jungle and finally left the show last night.

Stars of the series are always met by their loved ones at the end of the bridge for an emotional reunion.

However, none of Caitlyn's famous family flew to Australia to meet her so she was left standing at the end of the bridge all alone.

It's now been revealed James, who developed a close friendship with Caitlyn in camp, travelled from the hotel to the studio to be there when she left.

An onlooker told Mail Online : "James met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge and sat with her for the entire leaving process.

"Caitlin walked over the bridge, exclaimed to James ‘it’s you!. They embraced, both were welling up.

"James accompanied Caitlin throughout the entire eviction process and then when it was over they went for a Starbucks together to talk..."

Caitlyn and James were later seen arriving back at the Palazzo Versace hotel, where she was given a hero's welcome.

The 70-year-old star was greeted in reception by other contestants including Adele Roberts, Cliff Parisi and Andrew Maxwell.

Dan Osborne was also in reception with his children.

There was no sign of Caitlyn’s close friend and business partner Sophia Hitchins, who later greeted her back in her room.

It's since been revealed that Caitlyn's famous daughters, Kendall and Kylie, jetted off on holiday instead of flying to Australia to support her.

Kendall has been living it up on a yacht while Kylie has gone on a ski trip.

Speaking after leaving camp, Caitlyn told Ant and Dec: “I came here to test myself. I did the show 16 years ago, I turned 70 and thought what a challenge.

"I knew it wasn’t going to be easy.

"First night I didn’t think I would make it to the next night, but I met some of the greatest people, there wasn't one person causing a problem.

"I couldn’t believe I made it to three weeks. I am ready to get out.”
