I'm A Celeb viewers frustrated by Ant and Dec's awkward Giovanna blunder

I'm A Celebrity.... Get Me Out Of Here! fans have begged hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to say Giovanna Fletcher's name right.

The 35-year-old author and podcaster, who is married to McFly's Tom Fletcher, joined the likes of Jordan North from BBC Radio 1, Sir Mo Farah, Eastenders' Shane Richie and many other famous faces in Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

But during the first bushtucker trial, Gate to Hell, fans noticed that the hosts were struggling to pronounce Giovanna's name correctly.

As Ant and Dec shouted words of encouragement at the mum-of-three, frustrated fans took to Twitter to point out their blunder, urging the duo to learn how to say it properly.

One fan wrote: "Hi, absolutely loving the show so far but can Ant and Dec please learn how to pronounce Gi's name correctly please? It is Gi Van Na, the o isn't pronounced and it is like van not varn. Or just say Gi."

Another said: "It’s proper bugging me that they keep saying Gi’s name wrong #ImACeleb."

"Dear @antanddec Loving the show, but it's annoying me how you pronounce @MrsGiFletcher name. It's 'Gee-Vanna' not 'Geo-Varna' Thanks!" added a third.

A third said: "Someone teach Ant how to say Gi's name properly lmao."

This comes as husband Tom revealed a secret signal she sent to their boys on last night's episode.

While appearing with his bandmates on This morning, Tom revealed that Giovanna held her thumb to her nose and wiggled her fingers to signal a hello to their three kids, Buzz, six, Buddy, four and Max, two who sat at home watching the show.

"When she did that on her nose that's her little signal for the kids," Tom said.

Bandmate Dougie Poynter, who won the 2011 series of the show, then said: "Oh you get in trouble for that!"

Horrified Tom asked: "Do you? Oh no!"
