I'm a Celeb Olivia Attwood 'devastated' after tests ruled out camp return

I'm A Celebrity's Olivia Attwood revealed she wasn't allowed to return to the jungle despite her health checks coming back clear.

The reality star said she was devastated to be leaving the show after she only managed to enjoy 24 hours in the jungle. The production team was forced to remove Olivia on the grounds of low sodium and potassium levels but refused to let her return as it was deemed unsafe.

After being examined by the medical team and transported to a hospital for further checks, her tests came back clear. During an interview on This Morning, Phillip Schofield revealed that all of Olivia's tests came back healthy when she left the jungle but was still not allowed to return.

Confirming the statement, she said: "I was kind of like 'Great, shall we go back' and I knew they would need to do covid tests and stuff. It was then late, it was around 11 o'clock Australian time and they were like 'Taking you back into camp tonight logically doesn't work' so we went to a hotel.

"Basically, as we now know, the conversations went through all of the night with production desperate to have me but the medical team... I think it's an insurance thing. They have these readings and then they have to seek other opinions. It's like a collective decision.

"It's like 'What if we put her back in and they drop that low again, we wouldn't be covered because it's already been flagged up.' I was loving it. I was looking forward to having that exposure to that audience that doesn't know me or think they do."

Phillip confirmed that Olivia's test remained positive and healthy even when she returned to the UK which she confirmed. Olivia said she was frustrated with the results as she added: "I'm literally fine... It is what it is."
