I'm A Celeb fans threaten to boycott show as 'boring' Matt Hancock faces another trial

Matt Hancock moaned "I can't get this done" as he struggled to win seven out of 11 stars in his latest bushtucker trial, but fans were less than impressed.

The disgraced MP was voted for his sixth successive trial called Deserted Down Under.

At the start of the trial, show host Ant McPartlin asked: “So, you’re here again. Why does the public keep voting for you?”

Hancock replied: "I don't know… There's nothing I can do about it, I just throw myself at the Trial."

Ant asked: "Have other people in camp said to you, 'I want to do a Trial'?"

Hancock said: “Nobody’s said that, but you can sense it.”

Dec explained the Trial: “This is Deserted Down Under. You’ll get in and lie down in this underground pit.

“The stars are locked to the side of you. To unlock them, you need to retrieve the keys which are inside the hell holes. This is a Bushtucker Trial, the chances are, you won’t be alone in the pit. There may be a few surprises along the way.”

Hancockhad 11 minutes to unlock 11 stars and as snakes came into the pit, Matt said: “I’m just trying to talk about them as if they’re completely normal.”

Hancock initially struggled to find the corresponding padlock for a key.

He said: “Something’s going up my leg! It’s inside my shorts,” and then around the four-minute mark, he added: “I can’t get this done.”

Referring to being unable to locate the right padlock for one key, Matt said: “I’m feeling cross with myself that I haven’t managed to do that key.”

At one point the lights went out and Hancock was left to complete the rest of the challenge in the dark.

At the end of the Trial, it was confirmed Hancock had won seven out of a possible 11 stars.

Hancock said: “I just managed to keep really calm, I had to be gentle with them, but they were fine.”

“My biggest fear [was snakes], I kind of feel like I’ve faced that. I’ve conquered a fear.”

Speaking to Ant and Dec, Hancock noted: “It’s not 11 is it? Fine for dinner, haven’t hit it out of the park.”

Following the scenes, viewers took to social media to share their thoughts, with one responding: "If matt is voted for another trial I’m gonna throw a brick at my tv. It's so jarring I don’t want him on my tv any longer, so boring #ImACeleb."

While a second went on to say: "Can we all please vote for someone else to do the next trial? Getting bored of seeing the same person do them all the time #ImACeleb."

"I am so bored of the Matt Hancock show! a few weeks ago if you told me I’d get to watch him buried alive on telly I would have jumped with excitement but now I’m just BORED #ImACeleb," fumed a third.

Another commented: "Matt is way too boring in trials for you all to have voted him AGAIN #ImACeleb."
