I'm A Celeb fans desperate for show to return to Australia after chaotic series

Fans of ITV's I'm A Celeb have revealed they are desperate for the show to return to the original camp in Australia after a very chaotic series.

Viewers have even suggested they would rather see the show take a year off than have it return to Gwrych Castle in North Wales for a third year.

Most fans want show bosses to scrap the show next year if Covid restrictions are still in place.

With another series filmed at the castle, many fans believed the trials were too easy and that they didn't overly enjoy it, according to a poll from The Sun.

Danny Miller won this year's series (ITV)

The poll revealed that only 24 per cent of viewers think the show should return to the castle next year.

A source told the publication: "The castle was a worthy venue for a year, but the viewers clearly want Australia or nothing.

"The novelty of a new location was exciting last year, but in 2022 it just has to be Oz again."

They continued: "Despite the occasional intruders and the site taking a battering from Storm Arwen, fans reckon the celebrities had a walk in the park.

Frankie Bridge came third place (ITV)

"They were well fed, well watered and living in a warm-ish castle. It didn't feel as hard as previous years despite bosses' claims it would be."

Danny Miller won I'm A Celebrity this year, after being crowned the winner during the live final this evening.

The Emmerdale actor, who played Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap for 13 years, was speechless as his name was read out, while runner-up Simon Gregson was quick to celebrate for him.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly made the announcement live on air, as the final episode of the series came to a close.

It was Emmerdale's Danny, The Saturdays and Loose Women's Frankie Bridge and Coronation Street legend Simon battling it out in the final to be crowned champion - following David Ginola finishing in fourth place on Saturday night.

But during the live show, Frankie was confirmed to be in third place leaving Simon and Danny to battle it out until the very end.

This year's show was filmed in North Wales (ITV)

As both stars gathered in the studio to discuss their time in the castle, they waited nervously for the result.

Ant and Dec then revealed the vote was in and it was time to reveal who was 2021's I'm A Celeb winner.

Simon told Danny he was "chuffed" he had got the victory, while Frankie was soon handing him his crown.

As Ant and Dec finally heard Danny's reaction to the news, the actor said: "Wow, I can't believe it. I cant believe it mate. It's so sick. I am speechless for once."

He told viewers: "Honestly from the bottom of my heart and my family's heart, thank you so much. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me bar my son, I can't believe it I am in shock."
