I'm a Celeb fans can't believe it as Arlene exit is 'about Naughty Boy'

I'm a Celebrity fans saw the campmates wave a sad goodbye to Arlene Phillips on Sunday night (December 5).

The former Strictly Come Dancing judge became the first star to leave Gwrych Castle in north Wales in the 2021 series.

In her exit chat with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly it was celebrated that she was the ITV reality show's oldest contest at 78.

And the choreographer from Prestwich said the experience was all about 'overcoming fear.'

Fans noticed that the exit interview then focused on her friendship with Naughty Boy, who has become a major talking point on this series because of his clashes with campmates Kadeena Cox and Frankie Bridge and being voted to take on the majority of the trials.

And they showed a montage of moments they shared in the castle.

@fansvfavourites tweeted: "They’re even making poor Arlene’s elimination about Naughty Boy?"

@ThatJessKid said: "Not a montage of Arlene and Naughty Boy."

And thoughts turned to how the music producer will now adjust to life in the castle without Arlene.

@brybrybarou tweeted: "I would say #naughtyboy will be lost without Arlene now she's gone."

@thfcsamuel_ said: "Not surprised Arlene was voted off but do feel bad for Naughty Boy, she kept him sane."

And @atvfriend said: "Sad to see Arlene. Naughty Boy will miss her."

The interview then ended with Arlene telling Ant and Dec that she wants Naughty Boy to win.

@MaryMRobin tweeted: "Awww Arlene wants Naughty Boy to win. Pay back time...the other celebrities might go earlier than NaughtyBoy.

"It's the Naughty Boy Entertainment Show."
