I'm a Celeb fans baffled as they spot 'unnecessary' detail on new set

ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has returned to our screens with ten celebrities taking on the usual Bushtucker Trials in a new setting.

The series is being filmed at Gwyrch Castle in north Wales this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but some viewers spotted an 'unnecessary' detail on the show, reports Manchester Evening News.

On every series, a clock has been shown at the bottom of the screen to show the time difference between New South Wales in Australia and the UK.

But fans noticed that the clock was still visible on this series, and some were left confused.

"The live time in the corner is unnecessary," tweeted one.

"Well aware what the time is in Wales," sniffed another.

"Didn’t know the time was the same in Wales as it is here," said another viewer sarcastically.

But others loved seeing the familiar detail as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

"It’s great seeing the time still on the bottom of the screen," said one.

"Me sat here all amazed seeing the same time zone on our screen instead of the usual 7am," tweeted another.

"Gonna be weird being in the same time zone as the boys but here we go," said another.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues every evening on ITV1.
