I'm A Celeb bosses 'fear walk out' as several campers seek medical assistance

I’m A Celeb bosses are in panic mode as three stars have sought medical treatment.

Naughty Boy, Dame Arlene Phillips and Richard Madeley - have been seeking medical treatment, with Richard exiting the camp last night.

Bosses are deeply concerned as Frankie Bridges developed a rash that is being treated with cream, and Richard Madeley had to break the Covid bubble to receive medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

It comes as other contestants have had to seek assistance in the form of painkillers and counselling.

Dame Arlene Philips is receiving painkillers, while Naughty Boy has asked for access to counselling to assist him in being away from his mother who has dementia.

An insider has shared: "They can’t afford to lose any more big names.

"Naughty Boy is also having a tough time. He’s been speaking to the show’s psych team, led by Sandra Scott, on a specially set-up iPad to make sure he is staying upbeat.", The Sun reports.

Medical staff on the show entered the camp at Gwrych Castle in north Wales early on Thursday and called an ambulance.

In a social media post, Richard Madeley said: "I started to feel briefly unwell in the small hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution."

As Richard had to leave the camp for medical treatment, this meant he had broken the Covid safety bubble and is now unable to return.

He added: "I'm incredibly excited to watch their journey continue… even more so at the prospect of being somewhere a little warmer than Gwrych Castle.

"Thank you to everyone who supported me on my brief but completely unforgettable adventure - I've made some great friends."

An ITV spokesperson released a statement from the show that said: "Our strict Covid protocols means Richard has sadly had to leave the show as he is no longer in the bubble the celebrities form when entering the castle.

"He has been a truly brilliant campmate and we thank him for being part of this series."
