I'm A Celeb body language reveals campmates true feelings towards Matt Hancock

I’m A Celebrity star Chris Moyles has shown ‘jealousy’ and ‘contempt’ towards Matt Hancock, a body language expert has revealed. After securing the role of camp leader, it appears that Matt is yet to win over some of his jungle campmates who are remaining ‘cautious’ of the politician.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair, Darren Stanton shares his thoughts on Matt’s ‘positive change’, why Sue Cleaver has grown to ‘accept’ the former health secretary and the real reason Chris and Mike showed ‘absolute distaste’ towards Matt as he ‘did himself no favours’ during a recent admission.

Darren Stanton is a former police officer with Derbyshire police with a degree in psychology, who used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. H e later moved into media and TV as a consultant, being dubbed the “Human Lie Detector” appearing on the likes of BBC’s The One Show, ITV’s This Morning with Phillip and Holly as well as working on screen with criminal barrister Robert “Judge” Rinder. He has also analysed heightened political situations including General Election debates and key interviews with the likes of Dominic Cummings.

Darren said: “Sue spoke to the camera and said she now feels that the elephant in the room - being Matt’s conduct during the pandemic - has been sufficiently dealt with. As Sue has now accepted Matt into the group, I don’t believe she will go ahead with her original plan of going against him as camp leader.

"Without the strong motivational presence of Sue, I think any potential overthrow of the current rules won’t happen. Chris appeared a little dejected by this as the plan has clearly run out of steam. I still feel Chris has great issues with Matt. He also appears a little jealous when Matt has scored high in the trials or has received positive feedback from the group.

“Taking the equation of politics out of the program, Matt has actually performed well and is clearly throwing himself into the process. We have seen him take on many emotions, some of which have been genuine. I have seen a noticeable change in Matt’s demeanor and at times he hasn’t been afraid to open up.

"However, during the daily coronavirus briefings, Matt was often very still and stoic, which came across as less authentic. In the most recent episode we saw these same traits when Scarlette, Jill and Babatunde were teaching Matt a dance. Although Matt was willing to give it a go, his performance was reminiscent of a zombie. While he does not seem to be a man that has rhythm, Matt appears to be holding back and clearly still has that stiffness in him, which suggests that he is still being quite guarded.

“I don’t think Matt did himself any favours at all when he was sat talking to Seann about politicians answering questions. Seann appeared to take a childlike approach to the conversation and was clearly curious about what goes on behind the curtains. However, not all the campmates reacted in the same way, such as Mike and Chris who were both sitting and listening. Their faces flashed expressions of absolute distaste and contempt since the whole topic of conversation was blatantly about hoodwinking and manipulating in order to avoid being asked a question. It’s clear that Mike and Chris are still very cautious of Matt.”
