Online shopping can sometimes feel like a game of roulette. While things can look nice on screen, sometimes what actually turns up in real life looks completely different, and can leave you questioning whether you've receieved what you *actually* ordered at all.
What you don't expect, though, is for your glam girls' night out outfit to leave you looking like a 'tampon' - something which happened to one unfortunate shopper.
25-year-old Jenn Henman from Middlesborough couldn't believe her eyes when she tried on the White Bardot Ruched Side Jumper Dress she'd ordered from PrettyLittlething.
The dress, which is sold out in most sizes on the PLT website, claims to be 'the perfect attire for chillin.'
However, when Jenn tried it on it wasn't quite what she had expected.
Speaking to Manchester Evening News, the shopper revealed: "I bought it for a girls' night out for my friend's birthday, but had to find another outfit."
Jenn revealed that the outfit 'was supposed to be a 10, but fits more like a dressing gown'.
She added: "I look like a tampon."
The 25-year-old says that her friends have been comparing the look to that of the Michelin Man via WhatsApp.
The unsatisfied shopper is yet to send the item back, but has told us that she has been offered 30 per cent off her next PLT purchase as means of apology.
