'I'll KO Jake and Logan Paul on the same night' - shock Carl Froch offer to YouTube sensations

Nottingham boxing legend Carl Froch has ramped up his war of words with Jake Paul by offering to fight him and his brother Logan on the SAME night.

Froch laid into Jake Paul, yesterday, after his defeat to Tommy Fury - labelling his performance as "embarrassing".

Prior to the YouTuber's defeat to the brother of Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia, Paul and Froch had traded insults via social media with talk of the latter coming out of retirement for a bout.

Now he has come up with a novel suggestion to the brothers, in the form of a tag team match where he fights them both.

He told Bonus Code Bets: “Jake Paul and Logan Paul on the same night would be interesting. I'd fight them both on the same night and they can tag each other.

“Or maybe get Logan on the undercard as we've not seen him for a while as a nice little warm up for me, a steady few rounds until I decide to knock him el sparko.

“And then I can fight his brother Jake on top of the bill as the main event and make mincemeat of him, what a night that would be.”

Froch wasn't impressed with Jake's performance against the younger Fury brother. He blasted: "He can’t call himself a professional boxer because he’s gone in against a novice pro and got absolutely whooped, he got obliterated.

"He wasn’t really in the fight let’s be honest. Ok, it was competitive at stages but look, he’s swinging for the heavens there with that overhand right.”

In a clip posted on his Instagram, Froch posted a clown emoji and laughed as he continued his assessment, stating: "Jake Paul, absolutely useless.

"You got whooped, you got embarrassed. What was that? I've never seen anything so bad in my life.

"That was terrible, take up darts!"

In the build-up to the fight, Froch had been vowing to send the YouTube star “into f****** orbit” if they meet in a boxing match.

Paul challenged Froch to take on UFC icon Anderson Silva to prove himself as a worthy adversary, if he was to be victorious, Paul said he would then take on the fighter nicknamed The Cobra, who won the WBC, IBF and WBA super-middleweight titles during the course of his glittering career.

The 45-year-old has not been in action since stopping George Groves in their second bout at Wembley in May 2014, a fact he was quick to remind Paul of when he posted a video on Twitter, saying: “So, Jake Paul has called me out on his social media. Apparently, he wants to fight me. Just in case you didn’t know, my last fight was at Wembley Stadium in front of 80,000 fans.

“I won’t be fighting the mixed martial arts legend Anderson Silva. I’ve got too much respect for him. And your punch when you boxed him, did that even land? Very dubious.

“Don’t talk about me in the same league as you. I’m a four-time world champion. Two WBC titles there. You’ll never, ever have one of them. You’re not good enough. You’re not a professional fighter. You’re a performing clown. That’s all you are.

“So keep my name out of your mouth until you’ve done something in the game. If you are stupid enough to take a fight with me, when this right hand lands on your chin, it will put you into f****** orbit and knock that stupid barnet off the top of your head."

Having not fought for nine years, most fans would have given up hope of seeing the man who finished with a 32-2 career record in the squared circle again. And whilst the idea of getting Amir Khan out of retirement has been mooted, it appears that only Paul, 26, will tempt him into a return.

"There are no retired professionals I'd come out of retirement for," he continued. "I have a lot of respect for fighters whether I like them or not. Amir Khan's name came into the mix a little bit, but he's too small for me anyway, he can't hold a jab now, we saw what happened with Kell Brook when he hit him with a jab - his legs turned to Bambi.
