A search of the River Tyne will take place today for missing Alex Johnson from Chester-le-Street.
Alex, 24, is believed to have fallen from the Tyne Bridge in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
And family and friends are asking people to help search the river today as they desperately try and find him.
Alex's sister Ashleigh Marr said: "I will be at the river everyday looking for him until we find him.
"Please could I ask anyone, people who knew Alex and people who didn’t to come together and help us in this search.

"We are so desperate to get him out of that dark river and bring him into the light. It’s time to bring him home."
Ashleigh said her brother was wearing a green parka jacket, grey joggers and blue Nike trainers.

She added: "The area believe to be the most likely area is very vast and covers from the Tyne Bridge up to Blaydon.
"The river is dark, cold and dirty. Please help us get our Alex out of there. He shouldn’t be in there."

The search for Alex will start from 11am on Saturday and people are asked to meet on the Gateshead side of the Swing Bridge.
Inquiries remain ongoing, and Northumbria Police has urged anyone with information to contact 101 quoting reference number 60 16/04/19.
