'I just feel so lucky' Eddie Nketiah on what he's learned from Marcelo Bielsa and Arsene Wenger

Eddie Nketiah has hailed Marcelo Bielsa's passion for football at  Leeds United  and says that he feels lucky to have been able to work under both  the Argentine  and former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The England youth international arrived at  Elland Road  ahead of the current campaign on loan from the Gunners and has firmly entrenched himself as a fan favourite in West Yorkshire.

Though he has seen his opportunities hampered by selection and injury, the forward has nothing but kind words for Bielsa, who in his second season in charge of United is leading another promotion-chasing campaign.

Opening up on what life is like under the renowned coach, Nketiah made comparison to his time under Wenger, who enjoyed one of the most successful managerial spells in English football history during his time in charge in North London when the striker came through the ranks.

"It’s been a new experience," he told  Gaffer . "You get to see the level of detail and preparation which he puts in on a day-to-day basis.

"He’s really passionate about football. Above all else, he just loves the game. It’s been good to learn from him.

"It’s still very early stages, but hopefully I can continue to learn from him to get a bigger run of games and use his advice to help me in my career.

"Wenger was really important for the early stages of my career - he was the one who handed me my debut.

"It’s hard to compare the two, though. They both have great knowledge of the game, they’re both massively respected in the world of football so I just feel lucky that I’ve been able to work with both of them.

"It’s been great at such a young age to take things from each of them – these characters and managers who are so well-respected."
