'I hope we've got a plan' - Swansea City and Sheffield United fans on Oli McBurnie's imminent £20m transfer

It appears that Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie is about to leave the club imminently.

has been agreed with Sheffield United, with the striker heading to Yorkshire on Wednesday for a medical.

It is a huge blow for Swansea head coach Steve Cooper, who is set to lose his main goalscorer on the eve of the Championship season.

But, if we look at the situation from a glass-half-full perspective, the fee almost wipes out Swansea's financial constraints brought on by Premier League relegation.

Supporters will hope now that some of the money will be used to bring in a replacement for the Scotland international, who scored 24 goals in all competitions last term.

Swansea are close to agreeing a move for winger Kristoffer Peterson, who can also operate as a striker. But surely a specialist frontman is still needed.?

The McBurnie news has obviously been received differently in South Wales and the Steel City.

Here are what fans of both clubs are saying...
