Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the Reds' captain Jordan Henderson has signed a new four-year deal at the club.
Henderson's contract had caused concern amongst many fans earlier in the summer when reports revealed there had been unsatisfactory talks between Henderson's representatives and the club during the off-season.
However, before the start of the season, Jurgen Klopp revealed that he had spoken to Henderson about his contract predicament and it seemed apparent from then on that Henderson's contract extension was all but complete.
Although there has only been one new face at Anfield this summer, in the shape of Ibrahima Konate, several of the Reds' first team stars have penned new contracts.

Henderson has been at the forefront of Liverpool's revolution over the past couple of seasons as he has helped his side win domestic and European trophies, as well as being named the FWA's Player of the Season as he helped drive the Reds towards their maiden Premier League title in 2020.
This season will be the Henderson's 11th at Anfield.
