'I have to learn this song!' - Carlo Ancelotti gives verdict on his Everton chant

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has given his verdict on the chant fans have dedicated to him.

The Italian was confirmed as the new Blues manager in December and has enjoyed a strong start to life back in the Premier League, winning three of his four matches in the competition so far.

Excitement was high from the first time the 60-year-old stepped inside Goodison Park for the first time, and it didn't take long for Evertonians to devise a chant for their new boss.

Ever since his appointment, Everton supporters have loudly sang: "Carlo fantastico! Carlo magnifico! Ole ole, Ancelotti!"

The manager has now been asked what he thinks of the song - and he is a big fan!

The boss hasn't been singing the song himself as of yet, but he hopes that he is joining in with the Evertonians in the future.

Ancelotti said: "It's good!

"I said the reception was fantastic, the fact that they invented this song for me is new as well but it made me feel really happy. I really enjoy it.

"I have to learn this song, it's not difficult! I like to sing, but I'm used to singing when we win trophies. Hopefully I sing soon."
