A woman who stuck a note on the window of a Range Rover Velar with a silicone-type substance to stop two sisters from parking on her street has defended her actions.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she had already asked politely a number of times in previous notes and had enough when her disabled friend could not visit, the MEN reports.
Ellie Newman, 36, who lives in Whitefield and sister Jordana Timeyin, 39, who lives in Prestwich, park their vehicles on a street close to where they work in Whitefield.
The sisters both drive individual Range Rover Velars in black and white.

On Thursday Ellie claims she discovered a note stuck with silicone to the windscreen of her black Range Rover after she finished work.
The note in black felt tip pen read: "Please stop using this street as a car park.
"Residents are coming home from work/shopping and can not park on their own street!!"
Ellie said she and sister Jordana are perfectly within their rights to park there, as they both pay tax.
But the disgruntled resident said she wants to see more consideration for people who live on the street.

She said: "My friend wanted to visit, I was making him a dinner as he can barely walk now without a stick and can't stand up to cook."
"But he couldn't come as he couldn't park his car outside my house.
"Without being able to park right outside, he couldn't walk down the street, so he couldn't come."
The woman said some residents have three cars if it is a family where both parents work and their grown up children also drive.
