TV actress Rachana Mistry recently posted a picture of her boyfriend and herself on social media, making the relationship
official. Her beau Amit Madaan is a businessman and the two have been dating for the past two years.
Rachana says, “I met Amit at a cafe, which he owned and he was also the chef there. We connected over food and became friends. We’ve been together for two years and I felt that it was time to announce our relationship to the world, so I posted that picture.”
Talking about their relationship, Rachana shares, “He is a Punjabi and I am a Gujarati. He is also two years younger than me, but that has never been an issue. Some people make a big deal about a guy being younger in a relationship, but they don’t mind if the guy is 10 or 15 years older! Amit is supportive of what I do. He makes it a point to watch my work on TV and always gives me honest feedback. He understands my profession.”
Ask her if they are planning to tie the knot any time soon and she says, “We both want to focus on our careers now. I’m shooting for long hours, so we hardly get time to spend together. But, of course, we are in this for the long-term and eventually will look at marriage. As of now though, there are no plans.”
Rachana started her career with Marathi shows and then got into Hindi television with Salim Anarkali.
