'I have a little problem' - Watford star Ben Foster delivers damning verdict of Arsenal

Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has admitted he is frustrated with how Arsenal acted during their Premier League clash on Sunday.

The Gunners defeated Claudio Ranieri's side 1-0 thanks to a 56th-minute striker from Emile Smith Rowe after club-captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had seen his penalty saved by Foster in the first half.

The north London club, who also had goals from Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka disallowed because of offsides, were criticised due to the manner they scored in, having failed to give Danny Rose the ball back after the former Tottenham defender kicked it out for a throw-in when Ozan Tufan was down.

French centre-forward Alexandre Lacazette opted to take the throw-in before Smith Rowe fired in a driven shot, his third Premier League goal in as many games.

Now, Foster, who made five saves on the day, has criticised the Gunners for the way they handled the situation, claiming that Mikel Arteta's side shouldn't have played before scoring.

"I have a little problem with it," Foster told Sky Sports. "I think, in my book, that deserves to be booted back up to the pitch towards their goalkeeper.

"That's the way I would have seen it going. The way it happened, we need to kind of look at ourselves a little there because we need to be clever.

"If Danny Rose is kicking the ball out there, then we need to make a song and dance about it before the game gets carried on.

"We need to be throwing our arms in the air by saying 'get it back to the goalkeeper'. All that kind of stuff."
