I had to reduce eight kilos to look like a 21-year old college student: Harsh Nagar on his new role in Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho

Harsh Nagar, who was last seen playing the lead in Saath Nibhaana Saathiyaa 2 is back on television with Amar Upadhyay's Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho. The actor is playing the parallel lead and is glad to be back on the sets.

Harsh says, "After Saathiya 2, I wanted to do a show which is completely different. This is a love triangle with a difference. Usually in a love triangle, one person is always portrayed negative. But in our show, there is nothing like that."

He also talks about the preparation that went into this role " I play a 21-year old college student who is in love with a girl. So I had to look like a 21-year-old that was a challenge I took up. I had to reduce eight kilos to look the part. I had to also cut my hair short to look convincing," he shares.

Before beginning shoot for this show, Harsh took a little break and went travelling. He says, "I travelled solo and also went on trips with my wife Tanvi. I enjoy doing both. I got time to enjoy myself. Actually, I did not want a 10-month break but because I was waiting for my track to be revived on Saathiya 2, the break became longer."

Harsh has done films and TV shows. He has been part of films like Always Kabhi Kabhi and Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge. Harsh has done TV shows like Kartik Purnima and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. Harsh enjoys doing television. He said, "I like doing TV, it has a great reach, you connect with masses. So, I love to do diverse roles."
