Jefte has revealed he had no doubts over a Rangers transfer exit for Palmeiras.
The defender, 21, completed a £6m move to the Brazilian side on Wednesday night to end a one-year stay at Ibrox.
Speaking to the Palmeiras club website, Jefte has insisted he instructed his agents he wanted to join the "huge club" as soon as he heard of interest.

"I'm very happy to be here, thanks to Palmeiras' offer," said Jefte. "Any player, in Europe or Brazil, dreams of wearing this jersey because it's a huge club.
"When the offer came, I had no doubts about coming here. I told my agents I wanted to come.
"Everything was very organized to make it work, and I'm very happy and content.
"I hope I can help and contribute to the team in the best way possible."

Rangers have banked a significant profit on the transfer deal, having signed Jefte from Fluminense for £800k last year after his loan spell at APOEL.
The Ibrox club also have performance-based add-ons and a sell-on fee included in the deal.
Jefte went on to hail the facilities at his new club as he vowed "not even in Europe" do they have a similar structure, when referencing his new surroundings at Allianz Parque.
"I've played against Palmeiras a few times in the youth team, I've played at Allianz Parque," he said.
"The first impression was wonderful; not even in Europe does it have a structure like this.
"So it was something that really impressed me.
"Palmeiras is a gigantic club, really big, and I'm very impressed."
