'I gave birth on a roadside in four pushes - but I think I brought it on myself'

A new mum has been left with a very dramatic birth story to tell after welcoming her baby in a car by the side of the road, and has a theory as to why she only had to push four times.

In a video shared to TikTok, fitness coach Jade Mead opened up about her little one's unusual start in life, sharing a picture of herself cradling the tiny newborn while sitting up in the car, and another of them both being wheeled off on a stretcher by paramedics.

Opening up to her amazed followers, Jade wrote: "Yep that's me. I gave birth in the car on the side of the road - baby was out in four pushes."

Influencer Jade, who goes by TikTok username @jademead01, then switched the clip to footage of herself working out in a gym while pregnant, sharing her theory as to why her labour whizzed by so quickly.

Health-conscious Jade remarked: "I guess all the exercises I did to prepare for a quick and easy birth worked."

In the caption of the video, which has clocked up more than 109.1K likes and counting, sporty Jade laughed: "I guess you could say it worked, although I wouldn't recommend giving birth in the car."

A number of fellow mums could relate to Jade's lightning-fast labour all too well and came forward to share similar birth stories of their own.

One amused person commented: "The same thing happened to me. Side of the road. When they want out they want out. Congrats."

Another recalled: "Same, but in a pub car park!"

Others, however, had very different accounts of labour to share, with a third woman sighing: "I did all the right things and pushed for five hours meanwhile my friends who sat around eating hot Cheetos sneezed theirs out."
