I found a £62 dress that's ideal for summer and there's a way to get 25% off

With warmer weather it's safe to say a lot of us are shaking off our jackets and opting for dressing up in the sunshine, and that means finding new outfits that are perfect for parties, fancy dinners and just generally enjoying the sunshine.

I personally enjoy dressing up. Most of my friends will admit that they're never quite sure of my height since I'm often in heels of varying heights. So I was thrilled to put on a new dress and spend an evening in London with one of my friends. I found a gorgeous pink wrap dress on Vesper247, and was really impressed by the quality.

Our first stop was the new Gaucho in Covent Garden where we absolutely devoured three courses in addition to freshly baked bread, the food was so delicious that we practically polished the plates.

Filling up on juicy steak, creamy mash and a particularly cheesy truffle mac, I wasn't expecting to be ready to have my picture taken afterwards. Normally I'd be a little apprehensive eating so much in a tight fitting dress as it can be a little too form fitting, but the shape of the dress meant that it didn't cling to my stomach after I'd spent two hours filling it.

I have a bigger bust and that can sometimes make wearing strapless dresses a bit of a danger zone with me being constantly on edge of a fashion mayhap. It did need a little adjustment at times but for the most part this dress stayed right where it was supposed to. An easy fix for this is often double sided tape, although I personally don't tend to use it.

The dress really clung to all of my curves, with it being much more figure hugging from the back. I definitely had a visible panty line but this is easily rectified by opting for shapewear, my favourite being Boux Avenue's Contour range, and something I'd probably do next time. Honestly I wasn't too bothered by it, I like that the dress hugged my curves.

I'm quite short, not quite reaching 5ft so I think this is a really nice length for shorter women. You don't have to worry about sending it straight to the tailors to be hemmed. As the evening went on, we stopped off at Shoreditch Arts Club for an array of nibbles and drinks and I was really impressed with the fact that despite eating a lot of food the dress remained complementary on my figure.

I'd say this was a great option for summer parties coming up, from weddings and christenings to dressy barbecues. It's a dress you can feel girly in and not worry too much about eating or bloating.
