'I feel seen' - Asda praised for using woman with stretchmarks to model lingerie

Asda has been praised after it used a mum-of-two with stretchmarks to model its underwear.

The supermarket chain's George clothing line worked with a model who has the handle @brunna.teixeira_ on Instagram.

She says that she wants to empower others and that "self love is the best type of love".

ASDA chose Brunna to model its Entice lingerie set - a lacy purple style that comes in sizes 6-22, reports the MEN.

A picture of the model was shared on the George at Asda Instagram account and it was soon showered with praise.

Comments quickly flooded in from people who wanted to thank the supermarket for showcasing a 'real' body.

kellyjaylp commented: "When you can see yourself in a photograph and relate, I feel seen!"

nikki_poetry_of_a_mindful_mess said: "Thank you so much for using different bodies for your underwear campaign."

georgiecroftox praised: "This is actually my belly after having a kid. Love this."

jay_louise95 said: "Finally a lingerie set that shows what I’d typically look like, rather than all the skinny models with perfect tummies.

chrixxie_22 added: " Hurrah.... A proper body. Not filtered. Love the set."

The Entice Lingerie sets are available to buy online and in Asda stores now.
