There are a lot of things on a mum-to-be's mind while on the maternity ward - it's undeniably a stressful place.
Is everything running smoothly? Have you remembered to bring your birthing plan?
And you really don't want any added extra stress - including running into your ex and his new partner.
One woman went viral on TikTok after recounting the time that this happened to her - and it was extremely uncomfortable.
Maddy Cifelli shared a video of herself in a hospital bed, alongside the words: "When your ex and his wife are in THE SAME labour and delivery room."

She added in the caption for the video : "The hospital was too full for [labour & delivery] - at least we had a curtain."
After being sent to the hospital because of her high-risk pregnancy, the mum was checked into the labour ward.
Recalling the experience, she said: "I had a lot of complications with this pregnancy.
"I’m only 25 weeks pregnant so I’m on their high risk - they just want to take extra precautions with me.
"The hospital has been completely crazy - the ER was packed, labour and delivery were packed.
"So it was all great at first and (her partner) Cody and I got our room, it was great.
"I literally told him that the last time I was here I had to share a room with someone and it was a horrible experience because she just kept yelling the whole time."
But because the hospital was so busy, they were warned they would be sharing a room again - followed by Maddy's ex and his wife walking in.
"Then they walk in… we make eye contact," she recalled.
"Luckily there’s a curtain in between us but it was just so awkward - like I just felt like I couldn’t talk. So Cody and I were literally sat there whispering.
Luckily - she explained that the ex wasn't a recent one, as the pair were together in secondary school.
"I just thought it was pretty ironic and awkward," she added.
People were left in stitches by her account, with one viewer commenting: "Can't even imagine. I screamed the majority of my 24 hour labour. I would feel terrible to inflict my screams on someone other than my mum."
Another shared: "My husband's ex was in the room next door when I delivered. They came in with her chart not mine by accident."
A third joked: "That's when you say 'I haven't seen you in nine months.'"
