"I don’t like seasoning or any of that" - Fans mock ridiculously 'bland' dinner Molly-Mae Hague lovingly cooked for Manchester boxer Tommy Fury

Manchester boxer Tommy Fury got people talking after revealing his dream meal on Instagram.

The Love Island 2019 contest shared a gushing post on social media thanking his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague for cooking him a 'clean' dinner of plain chicken and vegetables without seasoning, saying it's 'the most caring thing' anyone has done for him.

Smitten Tommy says the dish is a 'fighter's meal' but his followers were concerned that the food, served up on a plastic plate, looked a little bland.

He wrote: "Can I just say that the meal @mollymaehague made for me was a fighters meal clean cut food I don’t like seasoning or any of that btw."

He continued, adding a love heart: "It was the most caring thing anyone has ever done for me so thanks for the meal babe I love you. Come on guys where’s the love."

"It was a bit of boiled chicken and some broccoli," retorted one follower.

"Calm down Tommy lad," said another.

"No/don't like seasoning??  AHHHHH HELLLL NO! You're lost somewhere in the bland food world," protested another follower.

And another said: "Plain boiled chicken and broccoli is not the caring thing my brother let us show you the way."

Social media influencer Molly-Mae appeared to see the funny side.

When someone tweeted "If I see that meal Molly-Mae made one more time this morning the risk of me throwing up is high" she agreed "same tbh."

The dinner for two was served up on a table with a flickering candle with a bottle of ketchup and mayonnaise, Tommy's favourite condiment, on the side.

"So hard training session at the gym and I come back to the wifiest wife of them all," he told fans in a video on his Instagram stories.

And he batted away Molly-Mae's protest that it looked 'terrible.'

"And it's on plastic plates as well," she laughed.

"It's the thought that counts," he reassured.

Tommy and Molly-Mae, who is also from Manchester, met and fell in love this summer on the ITV2 dating show.

Last week Molly-Mae sparked controversy by dressing as Cleopatra for Halloween and was accused of 'cultural appropriation. '
