Yuri Ribeiro has been ruled out of Nottingham Forest's game against Cardiff on Saturday - but there is encouraging news on Samba Sow.
Manager Sabri Lamouchi had hoped to have Ribeiro back for the 4-0 win against QPR, but he continues to struggle with a knee injury.
When asked when he would be back, Lamouchi said: "I don't know. I hope next week, yes."
Sow has not played since the win against Brentford at the start of October due to a hamstring injury, but Lamouchi hopes he will be back next week too, when Forest go to Millwall.
Meanwhile, the game against the Bluebirds is close to selling out with less than 1,000 tickets remaining on Friday afternoon.
Lamouchi says the players must embrace increased expectation with the Reds fourth in the Championship as he backed supporters to make a difference at the City Ground.
"The expectation is there but that's our fault. They support us - we want to make them proud and happy," he said.
"The players, they are doing the best they can. We must start with not more pressure, just to enjoy it.
"We need a massive performance to beat Cardiff. It's three games in a week and we have one day less than them (to prepare).
"At the end, we need to play as we know we can with the full support to make the difference and to make the maximum points."
